The Japanese recruitment market is approaching a major turning point with the development of platforms such as BizReach, AI and Chat GPT. Having been a headhunter in Hong Kong for 7 years until 2019, I strongly feel that Japan has a recruitment market that is quite distinct from the global market. The number of recruitment agencies and job openings is steadily increasing every year. What is the ideal recruitment agency for the Japanese market, and what kind of recruitment services will still be needed in 10 years' time? We hope that our actions will help answer these grand questions.
I have committed to making this profession my lifelong career. After returning to Japan, I achieved top-class results, primarily with foreign companies and funds. However, there are limitations to what I can achieve individually. I lack the scale and synergy of a team. I felt that the significance of continuing this work as an individual entrepreneur was limited. I wanted to initiate a business that could make a societal and economic impact by leveraging collective efforts and scaling up.
I established this company with the desire to create a Japan-based global executive search firm that will coexist in an AI-driven society 10 to 20 years from now. In the future, I would like for us to utilize our experience to directly connect professional firms, funds, CXO recruitment in Japan, and expatriate projects with key personnel, providing agency value from a global perspective.
