業務内容

■Position Overview
Drive the implementation, enhancement, and support of asset management and accounting systems and processes.

This position will sit between the business users and the IT service providers and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, drive system improvements, and ensure effective utilization of system features and functionality.

■Responsibilities
・Foster strong relationships within the business (especially Investor Accounting & Finance (IAF)) to gain a thorough understanding of the business goals, operations, and challenges.
・Performing basic investment management system entity setup and maintenance to support fund structures.
・Automation of various manual processes including investment management system P2P processes, automation of reporting to co-investment teams, employee co-investment teams, other investors, and other stakeholders.
・Serving as a technical liaison between Investor Accounting & Finance (IAF) and Business Technology Group (BTG) teams on system configuration, system workflows, and process optimization.
・Translating technical documentation and system specifications between Japanese and English to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
・Executing equity roll-up processes and ensuring accuracy across investment vehicles.
・Running, reviewing, and reconciliation of income allocation in the investment management system on a quarterly basis.
・Reviewing investor NAV balances and reconciling investor ledgers to investment vehicle data.
・Running of related party reports and reconciliation to the trial balance in the investment management system.
・Gather business requirements, documents processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to define system improvements.
・Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose and implement solutions to ensure system stability.
・Develop training and communications program to ensure the efficient and effective use of systems across the internal and external user base.
・Develop and maintain system documentation, including process flows, system administration, and end user guides.
・When required, act as the single point of contact with software vendors to ensure service levels are achieved and strong technology support is continually provided.
・Participate in system upgrade testing by creating and executing test plans.
・Serve as a backup for other members of the Business Technology Group.
・Any other tasks as may be assigned.

求める経験

■Qualification / Requirements
・Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
・Proficient in Japanese and English (able to read, write, and speak fluently).
・Willingness to gain an understanding of investment management system modules, including entity setup, equity roll-up procedures, and income allocation processes.
・Willingness to bridge technical knowledge between finance and technology teams, particularly investment accounting and finance functions and business technology functions.
・Willingness to learn about system configuration, testing, and documentation in investment management systems or similar real estate/investment management platforms.
・Self-starter, responsible, and responsive – able to work with minimal supervision.
・Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
・Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
