【Position Overview】
The Associate - Operations (Japan) works in close partnership with the Regional COO and Chief Administrative Officer, Japan ("Japan CAO") and plays a pivotal role in executing comprehensive business operations in Japan while ensuring seamless alignment with global objectives and regional leadership priorities.
【Core Responsibilities】
Regional Operations Coordination: Support the Regional COO and Japan CAO in overseeing Japan business operations.
Cross-Functional Initiative Management: Coordinate strategic projects across teams, ensuring consistent communication and alignment.
Technology Initiative Support: Assist the Regional COO in sponsorship of technology initiatives and digital transformation projects, including regional rollout coordination for global initiatives.
Office Oversight: Oversee office management for Japan including liaison with internal Workplace and Corporate Real Estate (CRE) teams.
Meeting Coordination: Assist in preparing materials for Regional COO and Japan CAO meetings with various stakeholders; manage follow-up actions.
Regional Events Management: Support oversight of major regional events (held in Japan), including client conferences, investor summits, and internal offsites, working closely with Marketing and HR.
Communication Strategy Implementation: Coordinate Japan communication needs with Marketing, HR, and other departments, including preparation of announcements, town hall materials, stakeholder updates, and translations.
Compliance & Governance Support: Assist with Japan-specific regulatory and other compliance requirements, manage business continuity planning initiatives, and coordinate regional cyber security and risk management protocols. - Required Experience

【Essential Qualifications】
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree • 3-5 years of professional experience in financial services, investment
management, consulting, or related industry • inexperience in executive support, project
coordination, or regional operations within multinational organizations preferred.
Language & Cultural Competencies
• Native or business-level Japanese proficiency • Advanced English proficiency (written and
verbal) • Deep understanding of Japan business culture, protocols, and relationship
management practices
Technical & Professional Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint - Salary
